Well, there is just about a week left of my summer vacation. My first day back to school is the 22nd, and it isn't even for classes. I just have an "orientation meeting" for Team I of the elementary education program I am in. I put "orientation meeting" in quotation marks because this meeting is from 8:30 am until noon. I don't know about you guys, but I've never attended a meeting that lasted three and a half hours. ANYWAY . . . I'm actually a little excited to be going back to school. Yes, I'm getting much closer to the end of my college career, and quite frankly, I can't wait to get it over with, but nothing makes me more excited about the beginning of the school year than school supply shopping. Maybe it's the future teacher in me, but nothing excites me more than walking through an isle at Walmart full of notebooks, markers, folders, and pencils. Granted, since I've been a college student, I've needed to buy much less of these things, but it's still my favorite part of the school year.
